Two World Cup matches will take place during our time in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, one on Thursday and one on Sunday. As a result, we anticipate increased demand for air travel and recommend booking flights as early as possible to secure the best pricing and availability. We also suggest allowing extra time at the airport when departing Dallas–Fort Worth, as higher passenger volumes are expected.
We do not anticipate any impact on Convention itself. However, Convention is being held at a resort and convention center, and we do expect the property to be busy with World Cup attendees as well as guests participating in other events being held at the property. Additionally, the resort is located in a popular tourist area, and with Convention occurring right before a holiday week, increased traffic and higher guest volumes are likely. Please keep this in mind when planning your schedule and allow ample time to travel between meeting spaces.
